Definitely a card to include in a Danian Infection deck. Not much on it's own, but if you put it in the right context it can reach up to twenty or so damage. Imagine this: Jaal using this on an infected Underworlder in the Infectorium with a vlaric shard. That's up to 40 damage, if done right.
This Location is a funny one. It clearly has a danian theme, but it's possibly the worst location for the new Danians! Bye-bye to all of your compost! Still, it's mirage ability is more or less made for Lore, who's energy ranges from 20 to 30.
That's a few more Turn of the Tide cards reviewed.
Forgot to say, rate the cards how you see fit!
ReplyDeleteEvergreen Tunic 10/10, really REALLY is amazing for Danians. Even those "not so hot" Danians that are only poor because of their energy. Like Taball, as good as his ability is, with more energy he's a decent fighter as well, and it makes something like Makanaz even more bothersome to deal with, as your opponent has to do so much to get rid of him, and even if they do he just makes later creatures stronger.
ReplyDeleteInfectious Implosion 9/10 its only downside is the little bit of anti infection that exists that almost never sees play, like Overworld embassy at MT Pillar, and Acid Wash, it's almost as good as Swarming Destruction for Danians. if it was water instead of earth, it would be just as good since Danians have more Water support due to locations.
Lore's Chamber of Recall, 6/10 this is good for a build I've been playing with. All creatures with 30 or less energy, it needs more locations. At the moment it has the Kiru City Tunnels and that's about it. It's not generally good for Danians under the new strategy, but it rips apart UW Song of Revival. :D
Yeah, and imagine how good Tunic will be with Ivelaan in the discard!
ReplyDeleteThe Evergreen tunic is hands down the best non-rare gear you can give to a Danian, the element 5 gear is still amazing, and the out perform, but with an extra 20 energy you can survive a Mipedian Invisibility Strike far easier and do your best to recover from it. The only concern with it is Underworld with the new LVB and Agitos
ReplyDeleteYeah, the new anti-courage cards are a pain in the thorax for us Danians =/
ReplyDeleteOk first things first if jaal uses thats attack in the infectoium it would not do 40 damage, because the infectoriums effect comes in the begging of the turn, not as soon as it gets infected
